does anyone know if hp is going to put centrino on something like the zd700? if it did that would be more than great and thats whats needed 2 stay up with the inspiron 8600 and sony a190 (or w/e iz called)and also if hp is going to put any new video cards out. i know they use a lot of gfrce fx on notebooks but if you go to the ATi website under mobility, you can see that they have the mobility 9800 out (which is already in inspiron xps and 9100) and MOBILITY X600[ :D][ :D][ :D]

I don't think they will put a Pentium M in any DTR size system's. I think all HP needs to do is start offering the lastest video cards on their systems, offer 7,200 RPM drives and maybe offer a Pentium 4M 533MHz Bus. If they would do those things for there DTR's it would help them out a lot! I wish they had an AMD system with a good video card.

Anyone know when the nVidia GeForce 6600 Mobile (or whatever they'll name it) is going to hit the market? I would speculate that HP will get first dibs, what with the zd7000 offering the GeForce 5700. The 90nm Athlon 64's have been shipping to OEMs for a couple weeks now and AMD and nVidia play very well together, and if you're going to need a new motherboard for the 6600 anyhow... hmm. All this speculation depends on HP having a clue, so no one should get their hopes up just yet.
