Hi, my friend has this problem with his laptop, he doesn't know english so I'm gonna try to describe the problem as best as I can.

He's had a nx6110 for a while, but he clean-installed winxp pro last night, after bootup everything was fine except some drivers were missing, especifically the wlan drivers. After getting them from hp.com website and installing them, the laptop recognizes it as a driver, but it doesn't get signals from networks.

Is there anything he can try? I dont think he has recovery disks and he cant order them either because hp venezuela doesnt have them, he bought the computer in the us.

    any help would be appreciated.

is wireless enabled in the bios? if not, it will recognize the wireless card, but when you try to search for an access point it will say it cant find anything.
