I am having an intermittent freezing issue on my nx6325 (tl-60,1gb,sxga, xp pro). When this issue occurs, my computer freezes, and has to be removed from a/c and battery power for a hard reset. When the freeze happens, i get verticle banding in alternating white, dark green, and dark blue across the screen. On one occasion, the verticle banding was primarily dark green, with blue banding. Any ideas what this may be attributable to? thanks in advance

thanks for the reply, but the lines i am getting across the screen are in proportional patterns, like evenly spaced bars of color spanning the entire verticle space of the lcd. As far as the hardware is concerned, this laptop is as it was from hp, bone stock.
