    nx7010 fan stops after 5 seconds. no display

    I have an compaq nx7010. When i power it on i get NO display and the fan stops after 5 seconds.
    It the same if i use just the battery or plug it into the mains using the charger.

    I have tried leaving the cmos battery out for 5 mins but it did not solve the problem.

    Any help plz. Thx in advance
