    Hi All,
I was just wondering if anyone out there has an HP NX7400, and what you think of it. I'm especially wondering how you like the screen (I'm looking for WSXGA+...is this a matte screen on this model?), how the battery life is, and how hot it runs (and, in turn, how much noise there is/how often the fan runs).
    Thanks in advance!

There is a review on CNET for what it's worth. The WSXGA+ screen on the nx7400 is the same as the screen on the nc8430 or so I was told by HP. So you might look at the nc8430 reviews for comments on the screen. I would expect that it would run fairly quiet with the integrated Intel card.

    Yup...nc8430 - X1600 - fan noise + battery life = nx7400.

I have the nx7400 and battery lasts about 3 hours, and it is almost completely silent, i can even sleep with the notebook turned on 1 meter away :D
