This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     nx9420 + Vista: no SD card reader

    I've tried to reinstall the drivers but still no luck, and no other drivers available at HP.com. The device manager reports it as "working properly".
    The card reader works with XP though.

    What can I do? Anyone else having this problem?

    Hum, I've got the exact same problem! Google-searches gave almost nothing besides some hints from linux-guys... :-s

    And 20 seconds after posting the above, I found a driver on HP's site. I'll check it out and post a note on how it worked!

    Thanks! Unfortunately it's a bit too late..... ;)

    Me stupid. Ended up reinstalling Vista a couple of days after my post here,
    just to find out that a driver was available at HP (yeah I checked after the install). Just like it probably was before...
