I get a high pitched tone from the sound output, and I can only hear it when I use headphones. The noise seems to be related to two other components:

    - When the fan have stopped, there's no noise at all, no matter what the HDD is doing.

    - When the fan is running, I can hear the noise no matter if the HDD is stopped or not, but the frequency lowers when the HDD is not in idle.

    Anyone else having this problem?
