    omnibook 6000 ram

    Does the omnibook 6000 need a special kind of ram?I know it uses 144pin 3.3v pc100 sodimm,but i heard that it needs specific chips on the ram?[?]Hopefully this notebook isn't to old.

    This unit is a bit on the old side, but then again, so is my 3+ year old Toshiba. [ :D] I'd recommend going to a few memory manufacturer's sites, like Kingston & Curical. They will list modules compatible with this model, but I don't think it requires specific memory as long as it's a 144pin 3.3v PC100 SODIMM, but don't quote me on that.
