    Hello,
I just did a clean install of vista on 9700t,
I would like to restore the hp logo's,
is there a way to restore the oobe only.
I don't want to use those pirated oobe/loaders out there.
I didn't see any options in the hp recovery manager.
    thanks.

Oobe stands for "out of the box experience" so after a clean install, it will ask you to activate. You can't get rid of it without calling Microsoft and activating it over the phone, online, or (I don't recommend this) using a WPA disabling program.

I didn't use system recovery, as I didn't want to loose my settings, or reformat my hard drive.
