hi i own dv7tqe and i just want to ask
other pavilion notebook users about the speakers and sound quality

its my first laptop and i didnt expect much about speakers and sound quality,
yet i think, to my expectations, they sound pretty decent.

things sound clear, vivid, and crisp enought
that i dont need to hook up exteior speakers.

and i was curious about other notebooks speakers quality compared to
pavilions and vice versa, because im planing to buy another laptop

are the pavilions speakers and the beats audio good quality compared
    to other multimedia laptops?

if i am to purchase, per say, an MSI laptop can i expect
same or better/worse sound quality than pavilions?

Some MSI models have Dynaudio speakers, which are also great quality. I can't say how they directly compare to Beats Audio, but some users were saying that they are on par with JBL in quality.

I dont have experience with high end laptops but I wont expect anything off laptop speakers.
the beat's is just a marketing gimmick , Which infact bundle with a equalizer preset to add fake bass to everything.

I got a dv6t qe and bass sounds like a wet sock being slapped against a wall in a room down the hall. I think the highs are tinny but it's laptop speakers, so what can you really expect. Other than the speakers and the wireless card I love the laptop though.

second that... The speakers are not something to brag about.

About the wifi: has anyone ever tried 630813-001 ?
It's supposed to be a RT3592BC8 which would translate into:
    - 802.11abgn (yes, it's a dual-band card)
    - 2x2:2 => (Yes, it supports phy-speeds up to 300 Mbit
    for HT40 configurations)
    - Bluetooth 2.1 EDR + Bluetooth 3.0 + Bluetooth 4.0
    - RaLink driver [supports windows, linux and mac]

Note: The Service and Maintenance Guide does not list this card.
[Instead it mentions the 6230, which as we know does not work]
However the BIOS whitelist module does include an entry for it!

IIRC, no 1 have a success story switching ANY wifi card w/o no-whitelist bios.

I'd like to say that I never use my laptop speakers, I either plug in my surround sound wireless headset or play audio through my panasonic audio bar that has an actual subwoofer, laptop speakers blow from the one time I just got the computer and turned the computer on
