    Hello Folks,
I bought HP dv 5000t 9 months back. and it has been giving problem since then. It started with over heating problem which HP repaired with processor fan replacement and some LCD component replacement. then I used it for a while and this time Harddisk area was heating too much. also whenever i start the laptop it didn't start so they took it back and are taking too much time to repair( It has been 1.5 weeks now),
I am really tired of sending out this notebook each , taking back of my data, and staying with out a notebook for longer periods.please guide me what should i do as my warrenty will expire soon ... how should i proceed and deal with HP people.

    Thanks & Regards,

There's a lemon law in most states that jumps into effect on the 4th repair. If you send it in 3 times, and it comes back and breaks again within the warranty period, then HP will have to replace the computer with a new one. However, until that time, you don't have much of a choice other than having HP repair it.
