    Hi all,
I bought a pavilion dv2000z notebook last month
I have a problem about the "touch sensitive quickplay buttons"
I don't know how I did it but I closed these buttons. I mean when I touch them nothing happens but with its remote control I can use them
Is there any of you know how to open them again? Any solution to make "touch sensitive quickplay buttons" work will be appreciated.
    thanks

Maybe take a look in BIOS, I know with the new BIOS there is an option to turn off the buttons...

Did you uninstall/remove Quicklaunch buttons software? This program need to be running for the quickplay butons to work. Try re-installing the software and see if it fixes the issue.

yes I reinstalled the software...also I made a recovery from hard disk...reinstalled all the things again...but they don't work...with remote control they work but by touching not...I mailled HP and they answered immediately but I couldn't resolve the problem...after 3 mails I sent them so at the third reply they sent me they say " problem is with your hardware...ship the notebook to US...we pick up it and fix"
I bought it from US but I live in Turkey so I don't think to send it.
Actually I can do without this feature I mean I can use remote control but the thing I care is why a 3-week notebook has such a stupid problem...
