    how to conect my notebook and tv via s-video cable?please help!

    Its a very simple process. Connect you S-Video cable to the S-Video port on the left hand side of your dv8000. Then connect the other end of the S-Video cable to your TV.

    Then press Fn+F4 keys to switch the display. You should be good to go.
