not all of them will and you should check either the reviews on this site or the user manuals on the hp site to see if the one you have or want includes one

Interesting. At one time the Pavilions were sold with the Expresscard remote and on Presarios it was optional. They must be getting cheap......

I just checked HP's (USA) website and it says they all come with Express-Card Remotes. All my friends with HPs also have the remote as well.

That is what I was thinking... I know my CTO came with one and I ordered one as well not knowing this. I called to set up a return and they told me to keep the remote and refunded my the cash. Plus when I got my tv tuner on e-bay it came with one larger remote and 2 more small remotes! I have 5 remotes! WTF? ;)

He asked if they come with by default, and I don't believe that they do. I could be wrong, as mine is sitting with FedEx right now, but I know that when I ordered mine, it was an option, and not a default. If fact my statement specifically says "No TV Tuner w/remote control". Again I could be wrong though.

Then I stand corrected. Thank you for the clarification.

Do you know what the differences are?

The Expresscard remote is a little flat thing that controls the media functions built into the laptop. The TV Tuner remote looks like your everyday full-size Universal tv remote........
