I have a Compaq presario cq50-215nr (Processor 1.9GHz AMD Athlon X2 QL-60 Memory 2GB at 667MHz, Hard drive 160GB, 5,400rpm Graphics 256MB Nvidia GeForce 8200M G ,Operating system Windows Vista Home Premium). The performance of my laptop gets lower when the laptop gets hoter. After 30-60 minutes i can't play anything. I usually use my laptop plugged in. Games start running slowly. It works better when i select power saver mode than high performance mode, from my battery settings. What should I do?
Sory if I made grammar mistakes but i'm from Romania. If someone can help me please leave a message here or contact me at [email protected]

How old is it , have you used compressed air to clean the fan/heatsinks ? What are the temps when it starts to slow down ?
