    now, the laptop supports the new gen of Santa Rose 800fsb chips..
    so my question is, can i pinmod this to 667 or 800fsb?
    667 = 2.5ghz
    800 = 3ghz

    and i wouldnt be surprised if the chip is capable of doing this under stock volts, the only question is can the laptop take the heat? and would it even be possible? (iv seen 667 chips go to 800)

    The chipset itself is limited to 667MHz so no 800. I have no idea if a pin mod is even possible though.

    The refresh notebooks have a different motherboard and chipset FYI.
