Does anybody know how to remove the live strong yellow paint on hp L2000 without damaging the plastic? Any suggestions is appreciated.

I have l2000 too. If I remember correctly there was a person who reported he managed to get those off successfully. Yet I can't find the post.
Rubbing alchohol should help but could just blur them. Hm, I'll keep searching. -

Acetone (nailpolish remover) should do it.

Acetone will definitely remove the paint BUT it will also melt the plastic! Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

vassil_98, thanks for the link. I found at http://www.joueftrains.com/restoration.htm that besides nail varnish remover, brake fluid is also safe for plastic. I'll probably try both.

I have successfully removed the livestrong yellow paint on hp l2000 lid using eucalyptus oil. First, i used non-acetone nail polish remover on a small area but it whiten the lid. So, out of frustration I tried to use eucalyptus oil and it works perfectly. I'm happy now.
