    Hi, :eek: :eek: :eek:

    i've been watching bit torrents via my laptop for a while ,, pumping the data out via s-video to the tv ,,each time i plugged the laptop in i'd have to go via control panel into the video set up and run tv wizard and select analogue tv plus laptop ,dual screen next next and finish,,,

    the tv screen and lappy screen would flicker a few times and then the lappy background would be on channel Fav,,,start the file and slide the player across to view. :cool:

    more often than not there was no settings to change with the wizard simply running though the action of next next next finish but everytime i plugged the lappy in to the tv to watch a file i'd have to go throught the same process :confused: ,,,

    however .......this time the screens didn't flicker and video out to the tv is not there,,, while the laptop screen is background only no icons or windows panes and the tv is blank typical blue screen,,, :eek: :eek: :eek:

    i've turned off the lappy and the unit tells me it's hibernating :confused: ,,,,

    i turn it back on and i've looped back to the same fault ,, :mad: ,me thinks the tv has become the priority screen and the icons are over there ,,, :confused:

    i could be wrong,,,,when i press enter or esc i get beep beep :confused: when i purchased the lappy windows was already installed and i didn't know to make a recovery disk for it. :( :( :(

    i've connected a spare lcd screen and it tells me the output is not supported,,,this tells me there's something on the output of s-video :confused:

    i'd be very interested to hear of any ideas and or advise getting back to normal,,,,there isn't really anything important that i need on the hardrive that i can't put back on there if that helps with a quick fix :confused:
