High capacity has about 20% more life.

Run the part # in the battery on the HP parts surfer website.

    Also compare with other users.

I have the High Capacity 6-cell battery in my notebook. The info on the battery is as follows:

Battery: (10.8v 55WH printed on battery)
HP Part No: 441243-141 CT: 6AAJU01BJVL2BY
    Replace With HP Spare: 446507-001
    7F0814

    A standard battery is 10.8v 48WH.

    Standard battery: 4400maH
    High Capacity battery: 5280maH

Edit: I know there is a difference between the Watt Hour rating stamped on the battery and the spec. rating in maH, don't ask me why.
