    goodday all,
    pls i have d hp dv9565ea, i need a sofware that can control d fan speed, manually, i want to be in charge of d fan speeds, just like i8kfangui does for dell, pls anyone advise me on d software to use, am currently on vista premium and my gpu is nvidia 8400m 128mb. thanks for all yur efforts

    Are you posting this from your cell phone keypad?

    Take a look at speedfan or notebook hardware control.

    Unfortunately, AFAIK such software doesnt exist for HP's. You can try Speedfan or NHC but I doubt they will be able to control the fan speed.

    woow, so i am stuck, surely something can read and control d fan, i do really need it, i live in a hot weather climate and i want dat fanning blowing at full speed

    Normally the fan is running because it has to otherwise the computer would overheat. Maybe a laptop cooling pad will help. One that has fans on it can plug into your usb port and those fans will run more quietly than the internal one. The real problem is that you need to reduce the heat in the system.

    thanks orev, but guess what, i want it noisy i dont mind d noise, i want it at full blast always, i will sleep happier, any solutions apart from buying an external fan

    Yeah, NHCs ACPI control has quite a bit of potential to work.
