    i recently got hp dv 6500t, on my laptop it is written as dv 6000t, so what must i do....all the specs are right but the sticker is reading dv6000t...

    Quite normal. The dv6500t is a sub series of the main dv6000t series.

    Top right corner of the screen is where "dv6000" should be.

    Its the same with DV9500, it has the DV9000 on the top right of the screen, because it is a sub-model of the DV9000 series. Anything you see with a 500 at the end is a sub-model of a series that HP had.

    So don't worry, also, if you look at the bottom of your computer you will see the actual model and serial number of your computer if you are still feeling uneasy about it.
