    possible ati video card problem?

    i recently purchased a used envy 14 and when i am using the ati video card there is a flickering at the top of the screen 1-2 lines. doesnt do it on the desktop just when a window is open.

    ive updated to latest ati drivers and uninstalled and reinstalled them with no solving of the problem. also it doesnt do this at all when using the intel gpu.

    just wondering if anyone has experienced this and could it be a sign that something may be wrong with the ati gpu?

    Definitely either the display itself or the GPU

    Get HP to replace/repair it
