    Hi all,

I have an HP Pavilion dv6247 laptop. Recently, I have been using it alot for Powerpoint Presentations.

When the cord for the PPT is plugged in, the screen display enlarges automatically. Usually, after the cord is unplugged, the screen returns to its normal size.

MY PROBLEM - After using PPT, the screen display has remain in its magnified state. What should I do to get it back to its regular/normal size??

    Very confused...

    Any suggestions would be great!

    are you using windows vista?
for vista: go to desktop, right click on the desktop, then click personalize, at the bottom of the new window that comes up, select "display settings", then you should see a window with the display settings
from there, make sure that monitor #1 is selected, and set the resolution to the default (which will get rid of the magnification)

    Yes, I'm using Windows Vista.
I've made sure that it is on Monitor 1...but I do not know how to set the resolution to default. I can't seem to find the option anywhere...so the screen is still magnified.

Really appreciate your help thus far!

Pull the resolution bar all the way to the right.
