    Hello, new to the forum here, i found you guys hoping you can help with a problem,
    I have a Presario CQ62 according to the command prompt method it is a Presario CQ62-XC434UA.
    I had to reinstall windows from a disk as the HDD was corrupted, now i cant find a way to get the drivers, Compaq does not list my model on the website.
    All they have told me is to connect to the internet and use their driver detection, I cant do that as i have no drivers so i cant connect to the internet.
    Any suggestions?

    There should be a sticker under your laptop.
    Also, doing a simple google search for CQ62-XC434UA shows results like this:

    HP Presario CQ62-231NR XC434UA

    So look for CQ62-231NR or CQ62 200-series drivers. Exact configuration is XC434UA but that is rarely needed.
