    presario power up problem

    I Have a presario X 1000 for some time now the power button does start the machine , I have to use the power from the adaptor to start up the machine ,

    Only when I insert the adaptor power in and out of the notebook , like trigger the power to the notebook will it startup ,

    What could be the problem ? .

    I guess if this continues the notebook will stop working in some time

    Can some one help out on this

    Are you saying that it will not power up on Battery? Have you removed the battery to see if it still does it configured like that?
