The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    price drop anytime soon

    Should there be a huge price drop in the hp prices. Summer is out school soon will be in again i wonder if i should wait for the 4th of july savings (do they normally have one?) or when will be the best time to buy.
    Checked the website prices are high.

    HP/Compaq should finally get their AMD Turion notebooks out in June (see other thread in this forum). If you're in the market for a thin-and-light that'll be worth a look (we hope).

    most of your big sales will occur around the end of summer for consumer aimed notebooks (not business) as many people by them for their kids/themselves for college at this time.
