    Hi
    I have a dv2701tx laptop ( specs in signature)
    I am facing this problem that whenever i start my youcam it hangs after 1-2 min..
    I tried updating the webcam driver, but windows shows the driver as updated...
    and i downloaded n installed latest version of youcam (though the problem appear in other video captiring software as well like windows movie maker(from XP) and yahoo messenger) but still no help
    ...can any one suggest why is it happening

    i have a pavilion dv600 and i hae the same problem with my webcam
    it never works with the window live messenger
