This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     problem with IE7

    i have a DV6000t with a windows media center edition. everytime i exit IE7 or if i need to close a popup window, i get an error message and the IE window closes and i need to reopen it again.

    it's the dialogue box that reads "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close....."

    does anyone have a solution how to correct this? thanks guys.

    Try updating windows and IE and try running a virus and spyware scan
