    problem with compaq 6720s screen

    i am having problem with the screen on my compaq 6720s with XP on it.

    the screen flickers on and off when the laptop battery is in and when the charger is in. however it does not seem to do it when the battery is out and it is jsut running on the mains power.

    and help would be great.
