I am having problems with HP health check. It is showing that I have a hardware problem with HP integrated Web cam (0013) and a performance problem with the memory performance check(0003). For a solution for the webcam check it tells me to test the webcam with Quickplay as a solution. The webcam works with Quickplay properly. It tells me to add more memory to fix the memory performance problem. Funny thing is that I have 2 gigs of memory already and my DV9220us laptop won't take anymore memory.
When I tell the program to ignore these errors, this doesn't work. They show every time I start the program again or run the health check again. The program says that the problems shouldn't show up again if I choose ignore the problem, but the same problems are showing up every time.

I have the exact problem with my HP integrated Webcam. It shows up in HP health check with the same status. The Webcam works fine in Quickplay and also works fine in Windows Live Messenger.
The only other application that I tried to use the Webcam with is MyDVD 9, under the input/capture function. It worked once and now it fails to connect to the Webcam. After MyDVD fails to connect to the Webcam, then no other application can use the Webcam until I reboot the computer.
By the way, my laptop is model dv9207us with Windows Vista Home Premium pre-installed.

I had the same problem with my webcam not being found. I stopped using windows live messenger and the problem went away. Make sure that you prevent Windows Live Messenger from booting when Vista starts up.

I have the same problem on my brand new dv6000t (full specs) and the camera works fine as well. I started having this problem before I installed Windows Live Messenger.

I spoke to a service tech about the issue, his fix was... Just ignore it.
