    Hey guys,

I just bought an hp envy 14 beats edition but in the purchase I made a mistake.

I selected i5-580M processor but kept graphic card as it was:
1 GB ATI 5650 - For Quad core processors instead of the switchable dual core processor graphic card.

I called HP but they said to cancel the order and re-order again. Should I do that or wait until I get the laptop and see if it is switchable or not? If not, then exchange it?

I would think the engineers who would build my laptop would know to put that graphic card but I am not sure.

They should be able to cancel your order and take a new one, especially if you just placed the order. Make sure they give you the coupon again.
Call as soon as you can, if the grunts don't let you do that, ask to talk to a supervisor.

I did cancel an order by before saying I made a mistake, and that was 2 days after placing the order.

I did call and ask them about coupon but they said that I have to order online so they don't guarantee the coupon.

They said I will be able to return/Exchange it within 21 days so I am thinking to wait till I get it and then Exchange it if its not right graphic card.

Or should I just cancel and try online order again?

I would just call and cancel the order and put in a new one online.

I'd say just wait and see (unless you have enough money to go ahead and buy one now). The refund process can take a week especially if it was a debut card. If it is the wrong card you can just tell them it's faulty and get a new one.
