i am just wondering if any of you have this bios installed on your laptop or upgraded to this bios. does it have any problems. does it present any problems that weren't there before you upgraded? i am thinking about installing this Bios to see if it fixes a fan issue, where it spins louder when you wake the computer from standby

    Hi, Kevinf.

No, it won't fix the fan issue.
I remember we talked about that issue a few months ago.

I tried to contact HP to report this issue to HP's BIOS developer team or someone in charge. I couldn't. Those "HP technicians" have no idea of this issue and have no way to report this kind of issue to developers or someone like those. Also, they asked me to send my dv4t to them so that they can fix it!

How can you fix the problem by dealing with the hardware when it is just a BIOS problem? I tried to explain this to them. They didn't understand.

It won't fix the problem. I upgraded to the F.13 version. It won't fix anything.
