Did you disable the "Fan Always On" mode in the BIOS?

My dv4t with the P8600 is strange... I can't find the specific temperatures at which the fan stops and starts spinning after disabling the mode. Well, actually I know the temperature at which the fan starts spinning. That was about 50 degrees Celsius. However, the fan kept spinning all the time once it started spinning. (even when the temperature was below 38 degrees Celsius)

My dv4t with the T9600 (which I returned) was better than the one I have right now. After disabling the "Fan Always On" mode, the fan began to spin when the temperature reached 58 degrees but stopped when it reached 42 degrees Celsius. That was more reasonable than this one is....

I don't know what is wrong with the BIOS of my dv4t with the P8600...

I think mine has a problem with the BIOS. I hope it is just a problem with the BIOS rather than a problem with the CPU.

The temperature sensor of each of the CPU core doesn't detect temperatures below 38 degrees Celsius. So, whatever temperature below 38 C is, programs that show CPU, GPU, and HD temperatures say the core temperatures are 38 degrees Celsius. I hope HP to release a new version of BIOS to test whether it is a BIOS problem.

Also, as I mentioned, I can't find at what temperature the fan stops spinning when the "Fan Always On" mode is disabled.

If you disabled the mode, can you find at what temperatures the fan starts or stops spinning?

If you didn't disable the mode, then your CPU was probably just a little bit hot.
