    hi,
    i was just wondering if someone could tell me what # of megapixel the webcam is? and also if you have any comments about the webcam in general.

    I think most webcams come in about 1.3ish mpx.

    To the best of my knowledge HP reduced it to .3 MPs. Doesn't make much of a difference.

    The older dv6000's came with 1.3mp the newer models come with a 640x480 Low light VGA camera

    It doesnt matter though as they perform the same. I have both 1.3mp and 640x480 VGA versions and they both perform the same using different programs.

    I think HP lied about the 1.3mp to begin with...
