    quicklaunch mute button and itunes problem

    when i am working within itunes the quicklaunch mute button works fine but as soon as i minimize itunes it ceases to work! all the other quicklaunch buttons still work, pause, forward etc.

    does anyone know how to fix this? i have tried downloading older drivers to no avail.

    im using vista home premium, quicklaunch driver ver. C

    This is a well known incompatibility between iTunes and Vista...it'll be ironed out "sometime". ;)

    The incompatibility only arose in the later versions of iTunes. I'm using 7.0.2 and the mute works fine. But it doesn't when I upgrade to 7.1

    update: updated to itunes 7.2 tonight, minimised itunes, pressed mute and well, it was a miracle, the sound was muted!!!!!!!!!!! lol.

    looks like 7.2 might have fixed some of our quicklaunch woes!! whoop whop

    off topic, but i used prevx2 to do a malware check today, it found 3 in vista where no other had found malware before. funnily, since deleting the files my integrated webcam hasn't failed to work! not sure if this is just a coincidence or what, but life is good, lol!!
