    The quickplay buton on my compaq presario v3000z does not work, When I received it, It was working perfectly, but suddenly it stopped working...any ideas of what may cause this issue?

    If it is not working without XP boot up, then the Quickplayer partition either crashed or ...?

    If it is within your XP, then try to reinstall the QP software.

    If the problem is in Windows, then did you by any chance uninstall Quicklaunch butons software. It is necessary for the QP button to function.
