The small problem is that if i press the mute button of the quickplay, the colour of the mute button does not change if audio or video is being played in real player, windows media player , youtube etc but it mutes.
Also if i am not playing any media the colour changes from blue to orange and from orange to blue without any problem. I have updated my drivers but the same problem.

    I had this same problem.

Make sure you run the installer for BOTH the files in the SWsetup folder(hopefully you backed this up). I forgot the file names, they both start with the letter "Q".

Run both of the installers in those folders and re-start. It'll work again.

I had to load the realtic (realtac?) audio drivers... I guess... I downloaded a bunch of the drivers off the hp site... one of them caused the little button to start turning red again.... and boot faster.

I loaded MS ultimate earlier... runs great....
