Hello, i have a dv 2700t with a t9300 and 3 gigs of ram. i want to upgrade to 4 gigs 800mhz fsb.

My question is, will it be possile to run in 800 fsb since the one in the laptop now is 667mhz?

also, whill there be much difference in performance? What would be the best sticks i could buy?

    1) If you upgrade to 4 GB without using a 64-bit O.S., then you won't even see the extra gig in the system anyway because of the code architecture.
    2) No, the RAM will downgrade to the 667 MHz speed because of the limitiation of the BIOS/Hardware and it's architecture.
    3) The only performance increase you would see would be in heavy gaming/rendering programs. With regular day to day performance, you should be able to run more programs open at once without as much delay, but that's it. It wouldn't necessarily show a dramatic increase in speed, say, when you are surfing the web because that is more about your ISP as an example.
