I have a dv2500t on its way and I have thought about using the built in card reader for readyboost. It seems nice to slip a card in and forget it. Not having seen one in person, does the card reader work like that, or is it obtrusive? I have thought about using one of the Sandisk Ultra SD cards. Any thoughts on this setup? Any reason that it would not work? Anyone using this setup?

It's out of the way and you'll never notice it, but then again, it won't do anything to help out your laptop.

What are the specs of your dv2500t? you may not be able to gain much by using readyboost. It should work though with any Flash storage device.

Readyboost will work with any internal (not external) card readers and with the cards that meet the readyboost specifications.

I've never used Vista but you guys think that with these specs (T7500, 2gb, 160gb Hd) it really won't make any difference?
