is it possible to combine the EPP discount without a coupon code? for instance, on this site, http://www.meanbargains.com/hp/ the coupons dont actually have a code but link you straight to HP. how does one get around this?

Those really arent coupons as such but are current discounts being offered by HP. If you log into your EPP account and browse the notebook pages, you will see the 'Special Offers' right next to the image of the notebook. There are no need to apply any coupons for these and should be available to EPP customers as well.

i guess what i'm asking is, is there a way to combine both discounts? it seems that you can either choose only EPP or the special offer...?

for instance, im looking at the tx1000 laptop and EPP brings it down to a base of $883. is there any way to apply the new $150 off deal HP is offering or its just one or the other? thanks.

sorry, im totally ashamed by my complete incompetence. so ive logged into my account and have gone to the notebook (tx1000) and it has the adjusted EPP price (883). but i dont see the 'special offers' you are referring to...

The discount is already reflected in the base price. Its not an extra coupon. The bargain website you linked earlier is just showing the same $150 off which HP lists under the 'Special Offers' menu.

I dont have an EPP account but the price seems to be the same as indicated by my APP account. maybe this screenshot will help...

Unfortunately HP stopped issuing coupons a couple of years ago. There are some coupons still available which are of low value(under $20) but high value coupons are very rare and I havent seen any around recently.
