    Hi. I recently got my replacement laptop, and I was wondering if I have to make the Recovery Discs again. My first laptop , which I got near the end of 2007, was the same model (dv9700) but it had a 250GB Hard Drive while this one I just got has 120GBX2.

    I would say yes. Reason Drivers may have been updated in just a couple of months.
