    recovery disk creation problem

    i bought a new hp laptop

    so i started to make recovery disks but when collect data it recieved 50% and then stopped and give me the following screen

    canceling in progress
    recovery disk creation will reume where you left off in the process the next you start the program

    any help please

    Check the software and drivers download page on the HP website for the model of your laptop. Somewhere at the bottom will be a patch regarding the path of the recovery disk partition. For example, for a HP Pavilion dv5-1102tx laptop, the highlighted text is what you should click on.

    If the patch fails to correct the problem, the only course of action left is to contact HP Support and ask them to send you the disks, as it's a problem with their software.

    If that patch does not help, Contact HP. They will send you a free set of HP Recovery DVD set if your software fails.
