    Hello,
    I've just bought HP pavilion dv9750ej, and after inserting the remote inside its "card slot", I couldn't take it out.
    The spring inside seems ok, in a manner that I can put it to lock it in, and push it again to "release" it, but when it's "released" I still can't take it out, since it's still unreachable for my fingers under the silver panel (where the keyboard is)

    Should I take it to the lab, or is there a way to pull it out?

    Try to use some flat object or tongs.
