Two of my arrow keys came off my dv6500 notebook. I am having trouble getting them back on. Any advice please!

It might be easier to replace the keyboard instead.

Thanks. They don't seem to clip on both sides. I will have to work on it.

Just curious, how did they come off? Did they just fly off?

Check the clips on the underside of the keycaps to see if they are missing/broken. Since it's almost impossible to get individual keys, you might as well get a new keyboard.

I had this exact problem with a key that I had never even used within a week of buying my DV9030. It just popped off out of the blue one day. I couldn't get it back on and took it to Circuit City where it was purchased and they said it was a manufacturing defect and replaced the keyboard.

But that would involve opening up the notebook vs. trying to get the key to clip back on!

Yes, but trying to get a key to clip onto a nonexistant clip is a lot harder than using a screwdriver.

If it just popped off, and didn't break the tiny plastic "clip" then it should just pop right back on.
