    Can anyone tell me if the default HP Quick Launch Button software will control an Intel 5100 abgn (512an_mmw) card? I have an Atheros in my Pavillion G70 and want to be rid of that particular card and it's drivers. Thanks!

    I am not sure but I think it will, since most new HPs come with that card now. I'd imagine you'd have to download mediasmart as that program replaces quick launch, plus download the network card's drivers.

    You can only replace it with a card that was pulled out of another HP from the same generation of laptop. HP whitelists wireless cards so only HP approved wireless cards will work in your laptop.
