Hey. i have HP 8710w when i change the resolution from 1920x1200 to 1680x1050 the screen is blurred. can anybody help me?

It will be blurred if not run at it's native resolution..........
-
It will always be like that. A LCD screen is only sharp at it's native resolution, since it has a fixed number and size of pixels. When you change the resolution, the pixels are combined into forming larger pixels. That's why it's blurry.

I run my 8510w (1680 native) at 1200X800. When you first change it the crispness change is quite worrysome. But use it for a bit and you will not notice the blurryness and you will be able to read better then at itsy bitsy res.
When I want to use net beans and I want more real estate I just up it to native but it allways looks blurry when I first change it back to 1200 again till I get used to it. -
It's different from person to person. Some people can't stand the bluriness, no matter how long (I'm one of those), some can get used to it (you), some don't even notice it.

Thats bad, anybody no the prise for changing the screen too a new one

How come the LCD monitors for desktops don't do that? They look good in any of the resolutions. Aren't they made of the same material?
-
They do that (in my eyes anyways). They use, however, much better panels. Laptops still use TN (twisted nematic) TFT's, while midrange and up desktop LCDs use IPS (or better) or PVA (or better) TFT's.
