    Hi
    I’m planning to buy Compaq r3000t or r3000z
    for using whith programs such as autocad , microstation, photoshop, flash and office programs. I work a lot with 3d graphics
    Please help me decide which one is fit better and what screen resolution is better for applications above, 15.4" WXGA (1280x800)
    or 15.4" WVA WSXGA+ (1680x1050) ?

    Either would do the trick only marginally better than the other. If I had to pick one though, I'd go with the first because I live the video card a little more and that's where you need some gas for the apps you're running.

    As for display, WXGA should fit the bill. I'd be concerned that WSXGA+ will be too high res for the way you're going to use the machine.

    I must disagree. Working with AutoCad & Photoshop, you would want as much desktop real estate as possible. So having the WSXGA+ would give the greater resolution & therefore be able to fit more onto the screen at one time. This is better for Cad & Photo work so you don't have to scroll around to make any changes.
