Has anyone restored their DV6000t with Vista Premium using the restore partition yet? What is the process and how dependable is the result?
Since the last Windows update or something my laptop never shuts down when I issue a shutdown command. It just hangs at "Logging off" or "Shutting Down" indefinitely. Also sometimes it hangs at browsing (My) Computer hard drives. I think its time to do a restore. Lucky me there was no restore points on my laptop since this option was turned off by default in Vista from day one.

Hi, the computer is put back in its shipping state. Use F11 when the machine boots and shows the ESC and F10 options.
