so i just got my dv9500t yesterday and i went to make recovery disks right out of the box, just to be safe.... while making the disks the computer froze. i hit the reset button from the windows menu and nothing happened. so i hit the hardware power button and the computer shut down. Then when i turned the computer back on it looked as though it was in the middle of restarting from before. it kept saying "Configuring updates" after like 3 mins it froze again. When i turned it back on i got past the post screen and a message came up that said BOOTMGR is missing press ctrl alt del to restart. so i did and the same message came up. i tried to use system recovery and an error message came up! so im stuck! can anyone offer any advice or troubleshooting solutions?? any help would be great thanks!

Send it back as there is no other than putting new clean system option exists. More, you will most likely won't be able to do that as it's BIOS will not let you format the SATA HDD properly.

It takes a very long time for it to configure the updates. Just be patient.
