    rubber stubs on bottom of laptop

    I don't think there is a way to get new ones. You could call your laptop manufactur or check out Walmart. They might have something like this.

    If they just came off you could super glue them back on.

    Superglue, or if your unit is under warranty, I believe you can have it repaired under warranty, I'll post later whether this is so (if it's an HP).

    You may find some in hardware store. They are usually clear rubber with peel off sticky back.

    Ihad (have) this problem with my Dv4000. The adhesive that holds the rubber ring to the laptop case fails under heat. I called HP support and they sent me a whole bunch of replacement pieces... which I need because they periodically fall off.

    Hi Togus,
    I guess you are using a 6-cell battery. With my 12-cell battery, the two rubber rings in the back never touch the desk surface and my dv4000 does not generate sufficient heat to cause the stub to fall off.
